Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has proposed a new governance model for Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) that utilizes Artificial Intelligence “stewards.” The proposal aims to address critical vulnerabilities in DAO voting mechanisms, such as coercion and bribery, by integrating advanced cryptographic and privacy-preserving technologies.

In a recent proposal, Buterin outlined a system where AI agents would act as intermediaries in the DAO governance process.
