Samsung unveils full gaming ecosystem at Gamescom 2026
Samsung is making a significant splash at Gamescom 2026, showcasing its full gaming ecosystem in Cologne, Germany, from August 26 to 30. The exhibit spans PC, console, and mobile gaming under a single roof.

A Massive Footprint at Gamescom

The company has secured a 1,090 square meter exhibition space for its PlaySamsung theme. Visitors can expect hands on experiences with popular titles across various genres, with Samsung positioning the exhibit around personalized gaming experiences rather than just showing off hardware.

Four Zones, Four Different Angles

The exhibition is organized into four distinct zones: Odyssey, Galaxy, Gaming Hub, and T1. Each one targets a different part of Samsung’s gaming portfolio.

The Odyssey Zone highlights Samsung’s 2027 gaming monitor lineup, including:

Attendees can try titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Crimson Desert, and Cyberpunk 2077 directly on these new displays. The zone also features the 9100 Pro SSD and the JBL Quantum 950 headset.

The Galaxy Zone shifts focus to mobile gaming, centered on devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra, both running a customized Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform built specifically for Galaxy devices.

Connecting the Devices Together

Samsung’s pitch centers on how its products work together rather than as standalone gadgets. Stephanie Choi, Executive Vice President at Samsung Electronics, said the integrated ecosystem gives users a way to take their gaming to the next level, framing device synergy as the company’s core message at the show.

The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, which include a low latency gaming mode, tie into this mobile setup as well. New ultra fast portable SSDs are launching alongside next generation interfaces, and the Gaming Hub Zone lets visitors try direct cloud gaming access on compatible Samsung televisions and monitors.

Neural Frame Fusion Comes to Galaxy

Samsung introduced Neural Frame Fusion to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 8. The AI powered technology generates pixels and frames in real time, improving power efficiency during graphics processing so performance holds up over longer play sessions. The result is a smoother, more stable gaming experience on Galaxy hardware.

A Korean PC Café, Recreated

Samsung is recreating the atmosphere of a Korean PC café at Gamescom 2026 through its T1 Zone, where visitors can try the exact equipment used by League of Legends player Faker. On site programming includes influencer gaming matches and product reveals throughout the event.

The World Finals of the #PlayGalaxy Cup in PUBG Mobile will also take place at the booth from August 27 to 28, with ten elite teams competing for the championship. Samsung.com websites across 22 key markets will feature dedicated Gamescom pages with special promotions tied to the event.
