The headset features a stunning 4K Micro-OLED display with 27 million pixels, powered by the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 processor for advanced AI processing and immersive sound. Battery life extends up to 2.5 hours for video playback.
For entertainment, users can explore global locations in 3D using Google Maps Immersive View with AI assistant Gemini. YouTube offers access to immersive 180 and 360-degree VR content, while Gemini provides real-time information about videos being watched.
Beyond content consumption, the device supports video pass-through mode for interacting with physical surroundings. Users can also leverage Circle to Search for instant information and auto-spatialize videos and photos into 3D.
Enterprise Ready
The Galaxy XR supports Android Enterprise, making it suitable for organizational deployment across retail, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors. The device enables training, productivity, and collaboration in immersive environments. Samsung has confirmed ongoing software and security support.
