Version 1.24.0 Rolls Out with Fresh Cosmetics and Stability Improvements
ARC Raiders now runs version 1.000.036 on console platforms following today’s deployment. The patch introduces two new cosmetic sets, the Nascosto Set and Speckled Set, available for purchase in the in-game shop. These cosmetic additions come as Embark continues its seasonal content rotation while the studio focuses development resources on the upcoming Riven Tides major update.
Quick Facts
- Game: ARC Raiders
- Update: Version 1.24.0 (Console Build 1.000.036)
- Developer: Embark Studios
- Platforms: All platforms
- Release: Live now
Vanguard Set Issues and Audio Fixes Take Priority
The Vanguard Set, which rolled out in the previous update from last week, had introduced model stretching for other players when equipped. This issue is now resolved. The patch also corrects an audio problem on the Stella Montis map where players and the ARC could sound quieter than intended when lacking line of sight.
Additional fixes address AMD FSR Frame Generation causing blurry visuals, an edge case involving zipline placement on ledge-adjacent carriables, and hold-to-use item activation conflicts when quick slot swaps were interrupted by firing. The team also resolved multiple crash issues affecting stability.
What Players Should Know Before Riven Tides
Players who participated in the Weather Monitor Station Project but failed to complete it before the deadline should check their in-game inbox within the next few days for compensation details. The High-Gain Antenna Project expires before the Riven Tides update, so interested players should prioritize completion.
Embark confirmed no game update will release next week as the studio prepares the Riven Tides launch. According to the Q1 roadmap, this major update arrives at the end of April and introduces a new map, new map condition, and additional content at no cost.
Competitive Landscape Shifts as Disney Partners with Epic Games
While ARC Raiders strengthens its content pipeline, the extraction shooter genre faces fresh competition. Disney and Epic Games are reportedly collaborating on a new extraction shooter designed to challenge ARC Raiders’ market position. This partnership signals major publishers’ growing interest in the extraction shooter space that Embark currently dominates.
