- Fortnite OG: The Pass screen sometimes shows incorrect season names, and ambient audio near The Devourer’s skull is missing or too quiet.
- Save the World: The Power Hour timer is missing from the map screen, and weapon damage during Mythic Storm King fights is inconsistent. On Xbox One, Directional Jump Pads can fail after Phase Shifting, and the Hero Commander Buckle+ Perk actually reduces damage as weapon level increases.
- Fortnite Festival: Pro Parts lane dividers appear erroneously, auto-emote doesn’t always apply on Main Stage, and guitar peripherals can drop out during local multiplayer. Pro Drums has scoring discrepancies and streak-breaking cymbal interactions.
- LEGO Fortnite: Small balloons can reappear after being destroyed once players log back in. Destroying the attached parts instead of the balloon itself works as a temporary workaround.
Today’s patch offers relief only to players hit by the matchmaking error. Everyone dealing with the issues above will need to wait for 42.20. The narrow scope suggests Epic is prioritizing the most disruptive, blocking bugs first rather than clearing the full list at once.
