Users who purchase Super Chat, Super Stickers, or digital gifts now receive an immediate ad-free window as a reward. YouTube frames this as an incentive to encourage direct creator support while delivering tangible value to paying viewers.
This change reflects YouTube’s broader push to diversify creator revenue beyond traditional ads. The company is expanding its gifting infrastructure globally, adding Canada, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand to supported regions.
Horizontal GIFs and Simultaneous Dual-Mode Broadcasting
