Chainlink Launches Three Oracle Services on AWS Marketplace
On April 24, 2026, AWS Blockchain Specialist Simon Goldberg announced the launch of three Chainlink services integrated into the AWS Marketplace: Chainlink Data Feeds, Chainlink Data Streams, and Chainlink Proof of Reserve. The move targets financial institutions building tokenized asset infrastructure on cloud platforms.
Each service addresses a distinct component of the tokenization stack. Chainlink Data Feeds deliver decentralized price and market data aggregated from multiple independent node operators, enabling asset valuation, settlement processing, and risk management. Chainlink Data Streams handle high-frequency data for onchain systems requiring real-time market responses, such as perpetual futures and options markets.
Chainlink Proof of Reserve provides decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and stablecoin issuers with verifiable onchain attestations confirming full asset backing, automating token minting while protecting sensitive internal data.
Two Reference Architectures Bridge AWS and Ethereum
Goldberg outlined two reference architectures demonstrating the technical integration. The first routes reserve data through Amazon API Gateway and AWS Lambda, with a Chainlink Runtime Environment workflow generating a signed report and submitting an attested reserve value to an Ethereum smart contract. Amazon DynamoDB stores raw source data for audit purposes.
The second architecture runs a Data Streams consumer on AWS Fargate, maintaining a persistent connection to Chainlink price feeds. The system verifies cryptographic signatures, evaluates trading rules, and submits signed transactions to a Central Limit Order Book when configured conditions are met. AWS Secrets Manager and AWS Key Management Service store the private keys required for transaction signing.
Why Financial Institutions Are Moving to Tokenized Finance
Goldberg cited unlocking liquidity, reducing settlement times, and creating new asset classes as core motivations driving financial institutions toward tokenization. The AWS Marketplace listing provides a procurement path that integrates seamlessly with existing cloud workflows, removing friction for enterprises already operating within Amazon’s infrastructure.
Broader Chainlink Capabilities Beyond Price Data
The Chainlink decentralized oracle network extends beyond price delivery. It supports cross-chain token transfers, compliance policy automation, and workflow orchestration across both onchain and offchain systems, expanding use cases across institutional finance and DeFi protocols.
Developer Access and Implementation Support
Developers can access all three services directly through the AWS Marketplace. Chainlink Labs offers use-case consultations, and a reference implementation for the Proof of Reserve architecture is published in the AWS samples repository on Github, lowering barriers for financial institutions evaluating integration.
