The core of the alliance involves Deutsche Telekom integrating Cloudflare’s security and connectivity solutions into its enterprise offerings, expanding T-Systems’ portfolio around performance, reliability, and security. Both companies are directly interconnecting their networks, giving European organizations streamlined access to Cloudflare’s global cloud platform without routing through third parties.
Cloudflare gets something valuable out of this too. The company will lean on Deutsche Telekom’s established sales and service organization to significantly broaden its reach across the European market, while Deutsche Telekom strengthens its own enterprise security capabilities in return. It’s a straightforward trade: Cloudflare gets distribution, Deutsche Telekom gets deeper security offerings, and both sides walk away with a stronger joint product for shared customers.

Training and What’s Ahead
As part of the rollout, Deutsche Telekom will add Cloudflare’s security solutions for applications, networks, data, and AI workloads to its existing portfolio. The company will also train and certify its professionals on the Cloudflare platform, so customers get comprehensive support from a single provider rather than juggling two vendors.
The two companies also plan to collaborate on newer approaches to security and digital sovereignty, including protection against emerging threats that will eventually require post-quantum cryptography.
