Who Gets It and Where
The One UI 9 beta is available for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The installation file size runs approximately 3.6 GB, and firmware versions vary by region, typically appearing as ZZHL, EZHK, or EZHL depending on where you’re located.
The test firmware is currently accessible to users in three countries:
- United States
- India
- South Korea
Galaxy S24 FE owners will need to wait a bit longer. The One UI 9 beta has not yet been released for that specific model.
Part of a Wider Rollout
This expansion to the S24 series fits into a larger pattern. Samsung previously extended the beta program to the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and the current S25 lineup, including the S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 FE.
The company has a track record of bringing new software experiences to older devices, as seen with earlier updates like One UI 8.5. That approach has become a meaningful part of how Samsung keeps users engaged across a wide and aging product portfolio.
Joining the Beta
Eligible users with a supported S24 model in one of the participating countries can join through the Samsung Members app. Inside the app, look for the One UI 9 Beta
registration section, confirm participation, and the system will prompt a download for the latest update package.
