Crimson Desert Update 1.14.00 Adds Cross-Save to Consoles & PC
Crimson Desert players can finally carry their progress wherever they want. Pearl Abyss has rolled out version 1.14.00 globally, bringing full cross-save support to the action RPG across multiple platforms. Start a quest on your PlayStation 5, pick it up on PC via Steam or Epic Games Store, and jump back to console whenever you like. It’s the flexibility players have been asking for.

Cross-Save Works Across All Major Platforms

The headline feature in 1.14.00 is straightforward: link your account once, and your save file follows you everywhere. The cross-save system is live on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Players who want to get started on Mac will have to wait a bit longer, but Pearl Abyss confirmed cross-save support is coming to the Mac App Store in a future patch.

The process is simple. Pearl Abyss provides a dedicated cross-save page with an FAQ to walk you through account linking. Once linked, your character progression, gear, quest status, and other save data sync seamlessly across all connected platforms.

Who Benefits Most

For existing players: You’ve already invested time grinding, completing quests, and gearing up. Now you can switch between platforms without losing any of that progress. Play on your couch with a controller, then continue your adventure at your desk on PC. No restarts. No parallel saves.

For new players: You can pick your starting platform knowing you’re not locked in. Want to play on PlayStation 5 but occasionally switch to Steam? Done. Your save follows you from day one.

Bug Fixes and Quality-of-Life Updates

Beyond cross-save, 1.14.00 squashes a solid list of issues that were frustrating players:

  • Quest fixes: “A Dwarf’s Concern” can now be properly completed. Previously, players hit a progression wall with no way forward.
  • Pet interactions: Resolved an issue where pets jumping on beds would lock player controls. You can interact with furniture without getting stuck.
  • Combat improvements: Damiane’s “Skystep” skill now uses the same controls as Oongka’s “Vertical Flight” for consistency. “Aerial Force Palm” no longer gets interrupted while free-falling.
  • Animation and audio: Character motion on high-speed mounts looks natural again. Sound effects now play correctly after the Praevus the Ancient boss fight.
  • NPC pathing: NPCs can properly navigate through open wooden gates, fixing weird AI behavior.
  • Localization: Translation errors across all supported languages have been corrected.
